Rodney Surgical Centre - The Centre for Health in the Heart of Rodney

Our Community Initiatives

The Rodney Surgical Centre is committed to providing charitable healthcare services to our community. If you wish to access one of our community initiatives ask your GP or contact RSC directly (see contact page).

1.  Northlink (formerly known as The Rodney North Harbour Health Trust) has generously offered to provide funds to eligible patients for surgical and/or endoscopic services at RSC. This service is intended for patients with limited funds and without medical insurance. To initiate the process, GPs are requested to send a copy of the hospital referral to RSC with a request for "Northlink funding".  We will take it from there. Patients will remain on the hospital waiting list and only removed once the procedure has occured at RSC.

2. RSC has pledged to return 2.5% of profits back into the community. These funds will be used in the primary care setting and allocated to GPs, PHOs or other community groups to help improve access to healthcare services. It is intended that this will be a flexible, and straightforward process.

3. RSC has a longstanding commitment to provide staff and facilities for the Auckland Regional Charity Hospital (ARCH) - for more details view the ARCH website http://aucklandcharityhospital.org
